Facts have proved that the development of bilateral ties is in the fundamental interests of the two peoples and conducive to peace and prosperity in the region. When talking about parliamentary exchanges, Wu said as an important part of bilateral relations, the exchanges between China's NPC and Malaysia's parliament play an irreplaceable role of boosting the understanding and friendship between the two peoples and promoting the sustained expansion of bilateral strategic cooperation. The NPC attaches importance to the development of relations with Malaysia's parliament, would like to maintain the sound momentum of top-level exchanges, push forward the friendly exchanges between the two countries' ad hoc committees, amity groups, young parliamentarians and working bodies and enhance exchanges in legislative and supervisory areas so as to inject new contents and vitality into China-Malaysia relations.
