Ambassador Chai Xi Made a Courtesy Call on Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak

    On 3 September, the new Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia, H.E. Mr. Chai Xi, made a courtesy call on Datuk Seri Najib Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia.

    Ambassador Chai firstly conveyed the cordial greetings from Chinese Premier Wen Jiabo to Prime Minister Najib. He noted that China and Malaysia have continuously deepened their comprehensive relations of cooperation, which has gone beyond the bilateral scope and gained increasing strategic importance. As the new Ambassador of China to Malaysia, he will work with the Malaysian side to promote greater progress of bilateral relations.

    Prime Minister Najib welcomed Ambassador Chai to his new post in Malaysia, and asked him to pass on his warm regards to Premier Wen. He noted that Malaysia attaches great importance to develop relations with China and hoped to further move the beneficial cooperation between the two countries in all fields.
